One of the most anticipated and attended summer events in the City of Chicago is The World's Largest Block Party, which has been an annual tradition for young adults. This year marks the 23rd anniversary! Over two nights, upwards of 25,000 people gather to meet, mingle and to listen to nationally recognized entertainment. The Block Party is Old St. Patrick's major fundraising event, with proceeds supporting many unique community-oriented programs, such as training and mentoring for those in job transition, tutoring for underprivileged children and adults, support for food kitchens and shelters as well as global outreach programs.

Old St. Patrick's Church is renowned in Chicago as the oldest public building and a treasured historic landmark. For over 155 years, Old St. Patrick's has also been the host of many unique celebrations and traditions that have become an integral part of the community.
